The Connection Between Sankalp and Self-Compassion

In this article

When I first started my Sankalp practice, I thought it was about discipline. But what I discovered was that Sankalp is actually an act of profound self-compassion.

Intention, Not Perfection

A Sankalp isn’t a demand. It’s an invitation. It’s a gentle compass to guide you home to yourself.

When You Stumble

There will be days when you forget your Sankalp. On those days, self-compassion is your most important practice. Place your hand on your heart and say: “I’m learning. I’m growing. I’m human.”

The Paradox of Change

When you approach change with self-compassion, change happens more easily. When you accept yourself as you are, you create the safety needed to become who you’re meant to be.
